 *Northeast Representatives must live in one of the following counties: Baxter, Clay, Cleburne, Craighead, Crittenden, Cross, Fulton, Greene, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Lawrence, Mississippi, Poinsett, Randolph, Sharp, St. Francis, Stone, White, Woodruff*

Responsibilities of Northeast Arkansas Representatives:

  1. Is a member of the board and attends all quarterly and annual board meetings (typically held in Little Rock).
  2. Is a member of the conference planning committee and a committee of their choice.
  3. Volunteers for and willingly accepts assignments and completes them thoroughly and on time.
  4. Stays informed about board and committee matters.
  5. Is an active participant in the board and committee’s annual evaluation, planning efforts, and fundraising efforts.

 *Northwest Representatives must live in one of the following counties: Benton, Boone, Carroll, Conway, Crawford, Faulkner, Franklin, Johnson, Logan, Madison, Marion, Newton, Perry, Pope, Searcy, Sebastian, Van Buren, Washington, Yell*

Responsibilities of Northwest Arkansas Representatives:

  1. Is a member of the board and attends all quarterly and annual board meetings (typically held in Little Rock).

 *Southeast Representatives must live in one of the following counties: Arkansas, Ashley, Bradley, Chicot, Cleveland, Desha, Drew, Grant, Jefferson, Lee, Lincoln, Lonoke, Monroe, Phillips, Prairie, Pulaski*

Responsibilities of Southeast Arkansas Representatives:

  1. Is a member of the board and attends all quarterly and annual board meetings (typically held in Little Rock).
  2. Is a member of the conference planning committee and a committee of their choice.

 *Southwest Representatives must live in one of the following counties: Calhoun, Clark, Columbia, Dallas, Garland, Hempstead, Hot Spring, Howard, Lafayette, Little River, Miller, Montgomery, Nevada, Ouachita, Pike, Polk, Saline, Scott, Sevier, Union*

Responsibilities of Southwest Arkansas Representatives:

  1. Is a member of the board and attends all quarterly and annual board meetings (typically held in Little Rock).
  2. Is a member of the conference planning committee and a committee of their choice.
  3. Volunteers for and willingly accepts assignments and completes them thoroughly and on time.
  4. Stays informed about board and committee matters.
  5. Is an active participant in the board and committee’s annual evaluation, planning efforts, and fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities of board members at large:

  1. Is a member of the board and attends all quarterly and annual board meetings (typically held in Little Rock).
  2. Is a member of the conference planning committee and a committee of their choice.
  3. Volunteers for and willingly accepts assignments and completes them thoroughly and on time.
  4. Stays informed about board and committee matters.
  5. Is an active participant in the board and committee’s annual evaluation, planning efforts, and fundraising efforts.

Collegiate Ambassadors serve as direct contact between Arkansas Women in Agriculture and the student’s college or university. Collegiate ambassadors must:

  1.  Have at least one full year remaining as a student at their college or university.
  2.  Be studying an agriculturally related field.
  3.  Remain in contact with the collegiate representative board member from Arkansas Women in Agriculture.
  4.  Serve as a student worker for the Arkansas Women in Agriculture Conference.
  5.  Be willing to attend board meetings and trade shows to represent Arkansas Women in Agriculture when available.

*Four collegiate ambassadors will be selected, but no more than one student will be selected per college/university*
